Two 100 feet long used tunnel kilns manufactured
by HARROP INDUSTRIES - available due to plant closing. Both kiln
systems are in very good condition and have been well maintained.
The kiln systems are designed for continuous use and are gas fired.
Each system includes: 20 kiln cars each at 30 inches wide and 78
inches long with a load height of 34 inches (with current design), maximum
operating temperature is 2400F (with existing firebrick), North American
Manufacturing dual fuel burners and combustion controls, combustion and
exhaust blowers, Honeywell temperature controls, multiple thermocouple
temperature monitoring system, pusher mechanism and controls, charge/discharge
vestibules, all piping and ductwork, rail tracks and transfer tracks, and
other items. Pallets of refractory kiln car blocks are available
as well as several spare blowers, burners and other items. Waste
heat dryer system and recirculation blowers are available and can be included
with the kiln(s) purchase.
